Join EcoAction Partners, Sheep Mountain Alliance and Wilkinson Public Library for our June Coffee & Climate Conversation on Intersectional Environmentalism in celebration of Pride and Immigrant Heritage month. Together, we’ll reflect on how our different identities shape the way we experience environmentalism, activism, climate impacts, and our connection to the natural world.
Through open discussion, we’ll explore the unique strengths and perspectives each of us brings to local climate solutions, while turning to nature for inspiration and examining what ecosystems can teach us. We’ll acknowledge who has historically been left out of these discussions and actions and how building a more inclusive climate movement can strengthen our entire community.
We hope you’ll leave with fresh perspectives on local resilience, deeper community connection, and new ways of imagining climate action in our region. As always, coffee, tea and pastries kindly provided.
