Coffee and Climate Conversations: The Super El Niño

  • Wilkinson Public Library 100 West Pacific Avenue Telluride, CO, 81435 United States (map)

Across our community, Super El Niño rumors are building hope and excitement that a snowy winter full of powder days is on the horizon. This year's El Niño is shaping up to be the strongest ever recorded, and is already driving changes in weather patterns, precipitation, and temperatures around the globe. Join us for a conversation with Emily Laidlaw, a social scientist at NOAA, to learn more about what the Super El Niño could mean for the San Juans and beyond, and how communities like ours could think about and prepare for its impacts.
