Join us for a free screening of the River of Sorrows a documentary by Rig to Flip and learn about the story of the Dolores River, its surrounding landscapes, and what you can do to help protect it.
The Bureau of Land Management is taking public input until November 1st on their resource management plan - a plan that will shape the future of the Dolores River corridor and many other important landscapes in the Uncompahgre region. You have a rare opportunity to come witness for yourself how remarkable this region is and to take action to help protect it.
The film is 45 minutes long and will be preceded by a 15 minute introduction by the film’s director. After the film we will briefly discuss how you can quickly and conveniently take action to protect this region. The remaining time will be left open for your questions.
Thanks to our partners, Sheep Mountain Alliance, Western Colorado Congress, and Rig to Flip.
